美南報系身處朝代洪流之中﹐戰戰兢兢秉持著對新聞事業的理想抱負﹐一步步朝著五大洲華人社區邁進﹐過去廿五年裡﹐報系的新聞觸角已遍及美南､美京､美東､美中､美西與美東南各大小城市﹐我們不敢怠忽﹐我們也不曾鬆懈﹐我們一直默默的跟隨著歷史的腳步﹐一步一腳印地前進﹐由於我們關愛華人社區﹐所以我們所到之地皆獲得華人社區熱烈的支持與鼓舞﹐這當然也是我們可以不斷成長與茁壯的主要原因﹐我們當會以更完美的新聞成果來回饋社區。
“芝加哥華人黃頁電話簿”是美南報系對美中地區華人社區的一個貢獻﹐雖然出刊華人黃頁倍極艱辛﹐從資訊的收集整編到分類歸納﹐在在費神費時﹐然而本報系克服一切外在之困難﹐盡善盡美地做好這項年度的苦差事﹐目的只有四個字－“服務社區”。
The Southern Chinese Newspaper Group is a part of this contemporary tide as it moves in step with the Chinese communities in the world. In the past 25 years, the group's distribution coverage has reached all areas of the United States: the South, the East, the Central, the West, the Southeast and even the capital. We will not slow down, and we won't relax. We will follow the footsteps of history. As we care for Chinese commu-nities wherever we go, we welcome and receive the support and encouragement of those communities. This is, of course, the main reason for our continuous growth and strength. In return, we pay back the community with more news and information that they can use.
The Chicago Chinese Yellow Pages is another contribution of the Southern Chinese Newspaper Group for the Chinese community. Publishing the Chinese Yellow Pages takes a lot of hard work. From collecting information to editing and sorting, the whole process requires enormous amounts of time and energy. However, the group over-comes all these challenges and annually strives toward this hard task. Our only purpose is to serve our community. With the coming of the new year, the Chinese Yellow Pages of the Southern Chinese Newspaper Group will provide information that is more complete and practical. If our readers feel satisfied after using these Yellow Pages, then we will feel aptly rewarded for our hard work.
